Special Operations Analysis, Resources, and Capabilities (SOARC)
The Assistant Secretary of War for Special Operations / Low-Intensity Conflict (ASW(SO/LIC)) recently established SOARC within the Secretariat for Special Operations to advocate on behalf of the SOF enterprise and oversee special operations-peculiar capability development, requirements, programming and resourcing, acquisition, experimentation, and analysis.
To drive the operational advantage of our Special Operations Forces (SOF) by integrating analysis, resources, and capabilities. We support the Assistant Secretary of War through advocacy and integration by delivering authoritative, policy-driven budget analysis, prudently managing assigned programs and resources, and pioneering the rapid acquisition of special operations-peculiar equipment to guarantee our warfighters’ lethality.
To be the Department’s premier integrator for special warfare modernization, creating a partnered, seamlessly integrated enterprise that anticipates emerging threats, shares burden with allies and equips the warfighter with pioneering, on-demand solutions.
